On 29th January 2020 the RIC A-Level Biology students delivered a presentation on current biological issues. The students focused on two subjects rooted in biology, which are currently receiving a large amount of press coverage.
The first being the spread of the coronavirus from Wuhan, its symptoms and comparisons with previous epidemics such as SARS.
The students also spoke of the recent bush fires in Australia outlining the damage caused to animal life and vegetation and discussed the time frames by which the land affected was likely to recover.
